Experience

I have been teaching languages for over 15 years and have experience teaching and tutoring a wide variety of age groups, from young children to adults, and for different levels, from beginner to advanced. I teach English (EFL or ESL), French and Spanish. I grew up in Australia and I speak English with a neutral accent. I have lived in Spain and France and am fluent in Spanish and French, I have also lived in China and India and speak intermediate level Mandarin Chinese. I love learning other languages and exploring new cultures and I have a passion for helping my students to fulfil their language aspirations. As a teacher I am patient, resourceful and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. I can tailor classes to suit your needs and set up plans to help you reach the level you want. I have experience teaching preparation classes for IELTS and Cambridge First Certificate and I can help you prepare for these or for other exams. In addition, I have experience editing and proofreading documents and can provide you with feedback to understand the grammar needed to improve your writing.

I love teaching and also learning languages, I know the ins and outs of language learning and can help you or your child to improve language skills. I enjoy travelling and meeting people from different cultures. I love yoga and am also a qualified yoga teacher. I also enjoy swimming and hiking. I have two young children and I enjoy playing and spending time with them. I also love reading and listening to audiobooks.
